O deputado federal Beto Richa (PSDB-PR) apresentou nesta semana requerimento para realização de uma audiência pública na Câmara para discutir a revisão do Tratado de Itaipu, que deve ocorrer em agosto desse ano e pode ter reflexos no preço da energia comprada pelo Brasil do Paraguai e nas tarifas pagas pelo consumidor. Na Comissão de Minas e Energia da Casa, ele também defendeu que os parlamentares precisam acompanhar de perto o processo. Ainda apoiou uma proposta de criação de uma subcomissão sobre o tema.
No plenário da Câmara, Beto Richa ajudou a aprovar projeto (PL 1604/22) que determina a concessão sumária de medidas protetivas de urgência às mulheres a partir da denúncia a qualquer autoridade policial ou por meio de alegações escritas. A proposta segue para sanção presidencial. Na avaliação dele, trata-se de uma medida de extrema necessidade. “As mulheres vítimas de violência e ameaças precisam de proteção imediata para que se evite tragédias como as que assistimos rotineiramente. É uma lei que vai salvar vidas e que protege não só as mulheres, mas suas famílias”, destacou o parlamentar.
Beto Richa também votou a favor de proposta (PL 636/23) que obriga os municípios a elaborarem anualmente programa de contenção de construções irregulares em áreas de risco, com definição de alternativas habitacionais seguras. O texto segue agora para análise do Senado. Outro projeto (PL 2419/21) aprovado nesta semana institui a Semana Nacional do Uso Consciente da Água. A data será celebrada anualmente no mês de março.
Em seu gabinete, em Brasília, o deputado recebeu o presidente da Associação dos Magistrados Brasileiros (AMB), juiz Frederico Mendes Júnior, e o presidente da Associação dos Magistrados do Paraná (Amapar), juiz Jederson Suzin. Na pauta projetos de interesse da magistratura. Também se reuniu com a presidente do Sindicato dos Servidores da Guarda Municipal de Curitiba (Sigmuc), Regiane Soldani, e o presidente da Federação Nacional dos Sindicatos dos Servidores das Guardas Municipais (Fenaguardas),
O deputado recebeu ainda prefeitos e vereadores do Paraná, dirigentes de hospitais filantrópicos e representantes de entidades. Nos encontros foram tratados projetos de interesse dos municípios, captação de recursos federais e propostas que tramitam na Câmara.
