Os deputados Beto Richa (PSDB-PR) e Rodrigo Estacho (PSD-PR) se reuniram nesta quarta-feira, na Câmara Federal, com uma delegação de representantes da sociedade civil ucraniana que estão visitando o Brasil em busca de apoio pelo fim da guerra provocada pela invasão russa ao território da Ucrânia. Na reunião ficou acertada a criação de um Grupo de Apoio Parlamentar Brasil-Ucrânia.
Participaram do encontro com os parlamentares a diretora do Centro de Liberdades Civis, vencedor do Nobel da Paz em 2022, Oleksandra Drik; o presidente da Representação Central Ucraniano-Brasileira, Vitório Sorotiuk; o professor de Política Comparada da Universidade Nacional de Kiev, Olexiy Haran; o chefe da Comissão para o Diálogo Inter-religioso e Assuntos Ecumênicos da Igreja Greco-Católica Ucraniana, reverendo Ihor Shaban, e a diretora da Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Ucraniana, Anna Liubyma.
O grupo relatou a situação de genocídio no país, pediu ajuda na intermediação pela paz e defendeu que a Rússia seja alvo do Tribunal Penal Internacional em virtude dos crimes que estaria praticando na Ucrânia. Ressaltou ainda o impacto econômico e humanitário provocado pela invasão, que coloca em risco a segurança alimentar mundial, já que o país é responsável por 10% da exportação mundial de trigo, 14% de milho e 17% de cevada.
“Quero manifestar aqui a minha profunda solidariedade ao povo ucraniano e o que pudermos fazer aqui para ajudar na busca de uma solução estamos integralmente à disposição. Nós, brasileiros, somos solidários ao povo ucraniano nesse momento de dificuldades. É uma guerra muito cruel, que tem vitimado civis e crianças. Temos visto pela imprensa imagens estarrecedoras, uma extrema crueldade na Ucrânia”, disse Beto Richa, lembrando que o Paraná tem a maior comunidade ucraniana no Brasil.
