Comprometido com a ampliação dos direitos das mulheres, o deputado federal Beto Richa (PSDB-PR) votou, nesta terça-feira (7), a favor de duas medidas que ampliam a proteção delas em situações que podem resultar em abusos. Uma das medidas aprovadas no plenário da Câmara é o projeto (PL 81/2022) que garante às mulheres o direito de indicar acompanhante durante consultas e exames para os quais haja necessidade de sedação. A iniciativa visa evitar casos de abusos, como os praticados recentemente por médicos durante atendimento.
Atualmente, o direito a acompanhante já é garantido para o período de trabalho de parto, parto e pós-parto. Mas o projeto amplia essas situações, dando mais segurança para as mulheres. A exceção é para atendimentos realizados em centros cirúrgicos e de terapia intensiva que possuam restrições de segurança. Nesses casos só será admitido acompanhante que seja profissional de saúde.
“É mais uma medida que dá segurança para as mulheres e amplia a sua proteção. Não são poucas as denúncias de abusos ocorridas durante consultas. Essa medida que estamos adotando é de prevenção e uma reinvindicação antiga das mulheres que não prejudica em nada o atendimento médico”, afirmou Beto Richa.
Outra proposta aprovada pela Câmara na semana em que se comemora, neste 8 de março, o Dia Internacional da Mulher foi a medida provisória (MP 1140/2022) que institui o Programa de Prevenção e Enfrentamento ao Assédio Sexual, à Violência Sexual e aos demais Crimes contra a Dignidade Sexual.
O programa, inicialmente previsto para ser adotado apenas em ambiente escolar, abrangerá toda a administração pública direta e indireta, federal, estadual, distrital e municipal. A iniciativa também deverá ser adotada nas instituições privadas que prestem serviços públicos por meio de concessão, permissão, autorização ou qualquer outra forma de delegação.
Entre os objetivos do programa estão prevenir e enfrentar a prática desses crimes nos órgãos e entidades públicos e privados abrangidos; capacitar os agentes públicos para o desenvolvimento e a implementação de ações destinadas à discussão, prevenção, orientação e solução do problema nesses órgãos e entidades; e implementar e disseminar campanhas educativas sobre as condutas e os comportamentos que caracterizem o assédio sexual e demais crimes para informar, além de conscientizar os agentes públicos e a sociedade sobre como identificar a ocorrência de condutas ilícitas e a rápida adoção de medidas para sua repressão.
O programa também prevê o estabelecimento de procedimentos para o encaminhamento de reclamações e denúncias de crimes nesses ambientes, assegurados o sigilo e o devido processo legal. As duas propostas aprovadas pela Câmara seguem agora para a análise do Senado.
